Dr. Athar Mahmood is a faculty member with Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow. He has a total work experience of almost 16 years, 12 of which have been in academia. Prior to Jaipuria, he taught at Integral University Lucknow. He received his doctorate from University of Lucknow and M.B.A. from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He has worked in various capacities in corporate sector, training existing and new employees on soft and hard skills. Certified as an Accredited Management Teacher (AMT) by All India Management Association (AIMA), he has taught courses in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour to MBA, B. Tech. and BBA students across different institutes.
Dr. Mahmood has several national and international publications to his credit besides having presented papers in reputed conferences organized by international managerial associations. Having co-authored a book, he has also contributed chapters to a couple of books. He has conducted training and management development programmes for corporate organizations like Clinton Foundation, Kriti Publications, for banking sector, for PSUs like India Post, Hindustan Aeronautic Limited (HAL) and academic organization like BabuBanarsi Das University. Currently, he is the Editor of Management Dynamics; a Bi-annual refereed journal published from Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow.
